today in spanish class, my professor told us how her three year old granddaughter described a baritone's voice in an opera as "sounding like chocolate". i don't know why, but that struck me as being one of the best things i've heard in a long time. and how perfect is the description? i'm sure most of us have described someone as sounding sweet, but never to such detail as chocolate. it just reaffirms my belief that children are absolutely amazing. |
